We understand that reaching out for recovery support can feel overwhelming. Reclaim Hope Foundation provides a comprehensive continuum of recovery and advocacy services designed to support individuals at every stage of their journey. Our core programming includes Certified Peer Support and Recovery Navigation, which pairs participants with specialists who have lived experience; Workforce Reintegration, a twelve-week career coaching and job placement track; Family Reunification Counseling facilitated by licensed marriage and family therapists; Harm Reduction Education including naloxone distribution and overdose prevention training; Recovery Housing Navigation with deposit assistance through partner grants; and our Recovery Leadership and Advocacy Training pipeline for individuals ready to give back. We also offer specialized programming for youth and adolescents impacted by a family member’s substance use, a Recovery Court Advocacy legal aid partnership, and community-wide stigma reduction campaigns across Denver and the Front Range.
Our programs are open to any individual aged eighteen or older who is impacted by substance use disorder, regardless of where they are on the recovery continuum. You do not need to be in active treatment, have insurance, or meet sobriety requirements to access peer support, harm reduction services, or our community outreach programming. Workforce Reintegration and Vocational Training Scholarships require a minimum of ninety days of sustained recovery, verified through self-attestation and a brief intake conversation with a program coordinator. Family Reunification Counseling is available to any family unit where at least one member is affected by substance use, and our Children and Youth Support Services serve young people from ages six through seventeen. Colorado residency is preferred but not strictly required; we have supported individuals relocating to Denver specifically for recovery.
The vast majority of Reclaim Hope Foundation programs are provided entirely free of charge, funded through a combination of federal SAMHSA block grants, Colorado Behavioral Health Administration contracts, private foundation grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations. Peer Support and Navigation, Harm Reduction Education, Recovery Readiness Assessments, community support groups, and crisis response services carry zero cost to participants. Our Workforce Reintegration program is free, including professional attire vouchers and transportation stipends. Vocational Training Scholarships cover up to two thousand five hundred dollars in tuition costs. Family Reunification Counseling sessions are offered on a sliding-scale basis starting at zero dollars for households at or below two hundred percent of the federal poverty level. We never turn anyone away based on inability to pay.
Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSS) are individuals with lived experience in recovery who have completed a state-approved training curriculum and passed the Colorado certification examination administered through the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA). They provide non-clinical support grounded in shared experience, including recovery coaching, resource navigation, crisis de-escalation, and motivational mentorship. Licensed counselors, such as Licensed Addiction Counselors (LAC) or Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), hold graduate degrees and provide clinical services including diagnostic assessment, evidence-based psychotherapy, treatment planning, and medication management coordination. At Reclaim Hope Foundation, peer specialists and licensed clinicians work collaboratively as an integrated team, ensuring participants receive both the clinical expertise and the relational authenticity that research shows produces the strongest recovery outcomes.
The Recovery Readiness Assessment is a free, confidential, six-question self-reflection tool available on our website and administered in person at our Denver office. Grounded in the Transtheoretical Model of Change developed by Prochaska and DiClemente, it evaluates six dimensions of recovery capital: self-awareness, support network strength, life stability, physical and mental health management, coping skills, and intrinsic motivation. Based on your responses, the assessment identifies your current stage of change—Pre-Contemplation, Contemplation, Preparation and Action, or Maintenance and Growth—and generates personalized program recommendations. The tool is strictly educational and does not constitute a clinical diagnosis. Your responses are processed entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to or stored by our servers. You can retake it at any time to track your progress.
Reclaim Hope Foundation does not directly prescribe or administer medications. However, we strongly support evidence-based medication-assisted treatment as a critical component of recovery for many individuals. Our Recovery Navigators maintain an up-to-date directory of MAT-certified providers throughout the Denver metro area, including clinics offering buprenorphine (Suboxone), naltrexone (Vivitrol), and methadone maintenance. We coordinate warm referrals, assist with insurance verification and prior authorization, provide transportation to initial appointments when needed, and offer ongoing peer support alongside clinical MAT services. Our clinical director, Daniel Moreno-Castillo, LCSW, LAC, collaborates directly with prescribing physicians to ensure integrated care planning. We advocate against any stigma surrounding MAT use and recognize it as a medically valid, life-saving intervention.
Our Workforce Reintegration program is a structured twelve-week cohort-based track that runs quarterly, with new cohorts starting in January, April, July, and October. Weeks one through four focus on career self-assessment, resume development, and digital literacy (email, job boards, basic productivity software). Weeks five through eight cover interview skills, background check navigation, workplace communication, and professional attire fittings through our clothing partnership. Weeks nine through twelve involve direct employer introductions, job shadowing, and supported placement with one of our forty-two recovery-friendly employer partners across industries including construction, hospitality, healthcare support, warehouse logistics, and food service. Graduates receive six months of post-placement peer support check-ins to help navigate workplace challenges. Participants must have at least ninety days of sustained recovery. Enrollment is free and includes transportation stipends.
Family services at Reclaim Hope Foundation address the reality that addiction affects entire family systems, not just the individual. Our Family Reunification Counseling program is an eight-session structured therapy track facilitated by licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFT) trained in addiction family dynamics. Sessions focus on trust rebuilding, healthy boundary setting, communication repair, and collaborative recovery planning. Separately, our Children and Youth Support Services provide age-appropriate therapeutic groups for young people ages six through seventeen who are impacted by a family member’s substance use. Certified child life specialists create safe spaces for art therapy, guided discussion, and peer connection. We also host monthly Family Education Nights, free community events where families learn about the neuroscience of addiction, enabling versus supporting, and self-care strategies for family members.
There are several meaningful ways to support Reclaim Hope Foundation’s mission. Individuals with lived recovery experience can apply to our Peer Support Specialist Certification Training, a sixty-hour program that prepares graduates for the Colorado DORA certification examination. General volunteers contribute through event coordination, supply drives, administrative support, and our Community Speakers Bureau, which provides stigma-reduction presentations to schools, employers, and civic groups. Corporate partners can join our Recovery-Friendly Employer Network, committing to inclusive hiring practices and supportive workplace policies. Financial contributions are tax-deductible under our 501(c)(3) status (EIN: 84-3291058). We also welcome in-kind donations of professional clothing, hygiene supplies, gift cards for transportation and groceries, and gently used laptops for our digital literacy program.
Reclaim Hope Foundation adheres to the strictest confidentiality standards in the behavioral health field. All participant records are protected under 42 CFR Part 2, the federal regulation governing the confidentiality of substance use disorder patient records, which provides protections even beyond standard HIPAA requirements. We cannot disclose that an individual is participating in our programs without their explicit written consent, even to law enforcement, employers, or family members. Our data systems are encrypted at rest and in transit using AES-256 encryption. Staff complete annual confidentiality training and sign binding non-disclosure agreements. The Recovery Readiness Assessment on our website processes all data locally in the browser and transmits nothing to our servers. For complete details, please review our Privacy Policy.
